We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Phakamani Empowerment for their valuable contribution and partnership in delivering the TETA HIV/AIDS Education, Awareness and Health Testing Services (HTS) Campaign across the eThekwini District. We were encouraged by the positive outcomes achieved, particularly the successful engagement of truck drivers, taxi drivers, commuters, students, and community members through impactful health education and awareness interventions. The provision of HIV Testing Services, together with value-added health screenings including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and BMI assessments, made a meaningful contribution to improving health awareness and encouraging positive health-seeking behaviour. The successful delivery of 94 HIV tests and additional health screenings to 57 beneficiaries demonstrates the reach and impact of this collaborative initiative. Throughout the campaign, the Phakamani Empowerment team consistently demonstrated professionalism, commitment, and dedication. Their ability to engage communities effectively and deliver quality health promotion services played an important role in advancing community health outcomes and supporting disease prevention efforts.
